North American rights sold for a not-yet-named collection of three novellas by A.G. Pasquella, Why Not a Spider Monkey Jesus?, New Town, and The This and the That, for publication Fall 2022, to Paul Vermeersch at Buckrider Books/Wolsak & Wynn.
World rights sold to Daniel Innes and Christina Wong‘s Denison Avenue, a story told in two parts as a graphic novel and novella, about elderly Wong Cho Sum’s attempt to cope with the death of her husband by taking up bottle and can collecting, amidst the greater theme of the price of progress in cities like Toronto and those it leaves behind, to Jen Sookfong Lee at ECW Press.
